Great Duty Free Shopping at Heritage Quay

The Duty Free shopping is at the waterfront in Down Town St. John's at Heritage Quay and Redcliffe Quay. These areas are charming and spacious with pleasant and friendly staff. Both Heritage and Redcliffe Quays are the areas in which the cruise ships dock in Antigua. All the shops are modern with a wide range of goods to suite every shopper.

Both the Redcliffe and Heritage Quay shops are adjacent to the waterfront and offers beautiful shade palm trees and gardens with boutiques, small shops and restaurants.

Nelson's Dock Yard

Nelson's Dockyard was named after the famous Admiral Horatio Nelson, is Antigua's famous and most prized historic possession. It is a wonderful and great monument with a past and is now a place of much activity. Nelson's Dockyard is the home of many yachts and many famous people.

 

Originally English Harbour was established to provide the British Royal Navy with a secure base from which to keep the Caribbean from the other European powers. Christopher Columbus did not stop in Antigua, but named it after Santa Maria de Antigua in Spain.
